This magnificent Victorian period dining table was hand carved of solid quarter sawn oak about 1895, and has seven original 12" wide leaves. Dining motifs with grapes, nuts and fruit are sculpted in high relief.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. There is a storage case for the leaves. When the table is opened, the lavishly carved pedestal separates, revealing a center leg for extra support. To close the latches under the pedestal takes two people.
Measurements are 5' diameter, 31" tall, legroom is 26," and with all seven leaves in place, length is 12' overall.
