I really love the slightly "tailored" look of this design. Gold banding with black penwork outlining divides this cider into quarters. The blackberries and leaves are handpainted in autumn colors. The gold trim on this piece is truly outstanding. it is very thick and rich and has barely even a superficial scratch on it! The pitcher is in absolutely superb condition. It is hand painted on a blank from Bernardaud and Co., Limoges, France, mark 1 (1900-1914). I have not found an artist signature. This beauty measures 5 1/2" high, about 8 1/2" from end of handle to the bowl, and the bowl itself is about 7 3/4" across. ** PLEASE VISIT MY SHOP FOR ADDITIONAL HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN INCLUDING MANY PICKARD ITEMS **
