A wonderfully detailed cider or lemonade pitcher with ripe blackberries, flowers, and colorful leaves. There is decoration on all sides of this piece. Lots of great details including a wide gold border, aqua scroll design, and white raised paste accents to the fruit and leaves. Do note the gold design on the handle. Hand painted on a blank from CAC Belleek (Ceramic Art Company/Lenox) with mark 3 (1889-1906). Although there is no decorating studio mark, this jug is artist signed KIEFUS (Kiefus, Jacob I) who worked for Pickard China Studio in Chicago between 1898-1905 before heading to competitor Stouffer Studio. This piece stands about 5 1/2" tall and measures about 8" from spout to handle. It is in extremely fine condition with only the most minimal wear. Gold is in exceptional condition.
