This stately decanter was hand painted at Brauer Studio in Chicago and signed by artist Kammermayer.
It features a stylized corn and wheat pattern with lots of nice detailing such as the gold outlining, black pen work, and gold scrolling at the base.
Also note the ear of corn painted on the stopper.....such a nice touch!
The jug stands about 10-1/4" tall, and is about 4-3/8" at the flared base.
It is hand painted on a blank from Limoges, France, and is stamped with the Brauer decorating mark 4, in use between 1910-1916.
The decanter and stopper are in extremely fine condition, with some gold wear mainly at the "use-points" on the handle, and where stopper sits (see photos).
