This graceful, elegant Limoges chocolate pot with lid was hand painted in Pickard Studio's FRUIT PANELS pattern. Although it does not have a decorating studio mark, it is signed by artist John Nessy, who originated the pattern while working at Pickard, between 1898-1918.
The pot stands about 11" to top of lid. In spite of its near mint appearance, there is a very well executed, professional restoration to the underside of the rim at the backside. Since it is mainly under the rim and in the back, it is truly all but invisible........but, it is there. A very lovely chocolate pot in this desirable pattern!
