Acid-etched gold glaze abounds on this 9" tall tankard or pitcher. It was hand painted and signed by artist VOKRAL, (Vokral, Jeremiah), in Pickard's FRUIT PANELS pattern. Vokral worked as an artist for Pickard Studio in Chicago from 1898-1922.
This large piece measures 9" tall and about 6" wide at the base. It is in extremely fine condition. There are a couple of errant acid-etched specks on the handle, but all part of the handwork involved in these pieces. I find a small scratch near the three cherries.
Stamped with Pickard mark 9, in use between 1919-1922.
