What a gorgeous tray! The color palette chosen by the artist covers the rainbow....purple, green, blue, yellow....it's all here. It is a subtle and well-balanced design, set off with a wide gold lip. This 16" diameter blank is from T&V, Limoges, France, Mark 7 (1892-1907). The gold rim is about 3/4" high. I cannot find the artist signature. Due to the nature of firing large, flat pieces of any clay, there is a slight warp to this tray which has been solved with small felt stick-on dots on the backside.
This great tray is in exceptionally fine condition.
Due to its size, this piece will require an oversize box.
