This stunning pedestal comport, in a deep blue color called Colonial Blue, was made by L.E. Smith, circa 1963 to 1975. The rim is a series of uniform scallops, with an outward flair.
Comport stands 6 7/8 inches high and 8 inches wide across the rim.
There are no scratches, wear, or signs of being used. The only fault I note is a blemish on the bottom of the base. It might be perceived as a chip, but it looks more like a defect in its manufacture to me. One image has an arrow pointing to the area. It is not something that would be noticeable on display. Price reflects the defect.
It is a gorgeous sparkling piece in a fabulous blue color.
