While this lady has a very simple girl next door look I just love the gorgeous color of her beret and dress. The color is kind of a matte magenta—there is enough pink mixed with the purple that calling it lavender would be misleading…so magenta it is! It is hard to find this vase with her original paint since it is cold painted on. She is usually found plain with all of her paint missing or a good portion of it. Her previous owner gave her a very retro yarn collar (I believe she has a simple peter pan collar underneath). This collar is really on there—you would have to soak it to get it off which would also ruin the paint. But if you are like me and love how it looks she is the perfect vase for you!
Condition: Excellent condition having no chips, cracks or crazing in her glossy finish. Clean inside and out! The collar does not appear to be hiding any damage (unless perhaps there was paint loss underneath it). There is no evidence of any kind of repair inside or outside of the vase—I believe the collar was added to simply dress her up!
Marks: none but I believe she may have been made by Nancy Pew
Measurements: 5 3/4”
