Oh, the charm of these art nouveau brass jewels! This bracelet features a floral filigree theme that not only frames but overlaps a gorgeous bright sea green glass stone. The stone is exquisite and features a unique rectangular shape with beveled edges and a concave center. Though the inner circumference of this bracelet is generous as with all bangles if your hand is wide across your thumb knuckle (even if though it will fit your wrist) it could be tricky to slip it over your hand. If you wear a women's size small glove you will have no problem and if you wear a medium you can probably slide it over if you put a nylon over your hand first (neat little trick I learned). If you wear a large glove size like I do you are out of luck. Even with a large hand I almost got it to slip on with the nylon over my hand but I was afraid I would never get it off!
Condition: Very nice condition. Very minimal wear to the gold plate given the age of this piece—overall very nice patina. Yo can only see two little microchips to the side of the stone if you look with a loupe otherwise they are not seen with the naked eye. The bracelet is not perfectly round as it comes around the back (the metal has some degree of flexibility) but is not anything that is noticed once it is on the wrist and could also be slightly shaped to your own wrist!
Measurements: Inner circumference 7 3/4". Inner diameter is 2 1/2" across from front to back and side to side. Width across the stone is 1/2".
Age: Early 1900’s
