This vintage formal two piece gown features a silver and gold metallic brocade pattern set against a darker smoky gray background. The top is a very fitted bodice with cap sleeves. The full length skirt is pleated and lined with a slip and tulle for added fullness. Gold rhinestone buttons (decoration only since bodice zips in the back and does not open in the front) add further sparkle. The way this dress shimmers in the light is just amazing. Please see all of the pictures and if you would like a picture of a particular portion of the dress close up I will be happy to do so. I have included a picture of the interior of the bodice showing that it is fully lined and clean! Better notify the queen or princess of the house that her gown is ready!
Condition: Excellent. There are no rips, tears, stains or odors. Edges of sleeves and hem were inspected for wear and soiling and none was found. You may find the stray metallic thread sticking out here or there at a seam or edge—easily taken care of. It is in clean ready to wear condition.
Marks: Both tags in the bodice and skirt were cut from this dress by previous owner. Darn! I would have loved to know who made it!
Measurements: Size XS / S Except for pleats in the skirt which are forgiving over the lower belly and hip area. The waist and the bodice have no stretch. I really took my time with these measurements and have described them as best I can. Any questions please inquire.
