I lived in Indonesia for 13 years, where I designed and bought sterling jewelry and sold it at monthly meetings and at house parties. This is one of my favorites, not one of my designs. It's a sterling collar with 18K gold wire. The focal piece is a dyed blue genuine mabe pearl, which is a blister or a half pearl on the oyster shell, rather than a free form pearl. Interior diameter side to side, 5 1/4", front to back 5". The necklace slants outward for comfort would fit up to an 18" neck. 90.4gr or more, since not all of the necklace would fit on my scale. Marked on the collar 925/18K and a rainbow, on the back of the pearl, it is marked 925, 8K (there is a hole where the 1 would have landed, and a rainbow). It is jointed on both sides of the pearl. Excellent vintage condition. It's absolutely gorgeous. I also have listed a pair of little more old style sterling earrings clips , with blue mabe pearls.
