In the 1960s and 1970s, Rancho Alegre was the largest silver shop in Taxco. Pedro Castillo has 13 silversmiths making jewelry for Rancho Alegre, so many of their items were his designs. There is no way to know whose work this cuff and earrings. The bracelet is 1 7/8" tall and the interior circumference is 5 3/4" plus a 1" gap for a 6 3/4" wrist or a little smaller. The matching screw back earrings are 1 1/2" and climb up the ear as well as down. The widest part is 13/16". The bracelet is marked Rancho Alegre, Sterling, Mexico, 1006. Excellent vintage condition. It would not be difficult to change these to hooks or posts.
