Los Castillo mixed metals of sterling, copper and brass. I have read that the difficulty in making mixed metals jewelry is that each of the metals melts at different temperature, so one might be melting when another metal may not be hot enough to join. The bracelet has two bands of sterling on the top and bottom with one ring of brass and one ring of copper. The hinged bracelet is 1/2" and 6 5/16" oval interior circumference. The 1 1/8" long has one ring of sterling, one of copper and one of brass. The earrings have screw backs. Marked on the bracelet is Los Castillo, Taxco circle with the tax eagle (number not legible) in the center, Hecho en Mexico, 144. One earrings has Los Castillo (partially), and Taxco and the other has 143. Very good condition. The marks on the silver can be polished out by a jeweler.
