The Bell Trading Post was opened in Albuquerque in 1932. They made tourist jewelry for travelers using the new highway system or by rail. This is the first copper thunderbird bracelet I have found. There are all the symbols used on Harvey era jewelry: arrows, feathers, rain drops and the central bird with a bezel set turquoise on his breast. 1 1/2" tall, 5 3/8" end to end plus a 1" gap. Will fit a 6 3/8" to about a 7" wrist. Slightly flexible to make the gap larger. 2 1/4" side to side, 2" front to back interior diameter. Excellent vintage condition. Marked Bell Copper in a circle with a bell in the center. Rare!
