REDUCED from $6000 to $4800. This necklace draws gasps. I know because I wore it Saturday night to a Hill Country barbecue. The necklace has 9 stabilized Kingman leaves (to keep them from breaking - you want this) on a Kingman heishe necklace with red, possibly coral, beads by the hook closure. 23 1/2" long, largest leaf 2 1/2" by 1 1/4", shortest leaf 1 3/4" by 3/4" Strung on twisted sinew or cord. The earrings (1 3/4" long by 5/8" just for the leaf) came with the necklace and had new shepherd's hooks, which I switched to screw backs. I can return then to hooks, if you like. I attribute this set to the Leekya family. This Zuni family of famous fetish makers was led by Leekya Deyuse, (known as Leekya and one of his daughters, Sandra Leekya, has a very similar necklace in Schaaf second book, American Indian Jewelry I, page 335 and 337. Not signed. Excellent vintage condition. No breakage to the leaves.
