SALE: Reduced from $899 to $699. Ana Nunez Brilianti named her shop Victoria, opening in Taxco in 1940, and this fabulous sterling bracelet was made in her earliest period (1940-1945) according to the markings. The stations are in the shape of a cross folded over a dotted unpolished rectangle and topped with a bezel set cabochon amethyst. 1 3/4" by 7", rises 3/8" above the wrist. Weighs 3.75 oz. The clasp is a hook and it takes a little practice to slide the loop out, well worth the time to learn. Best for a wrist not larger than 6 1/2". Marked Victoria, Taxco, Sterling, Made in Mexico, with the inventory 73. Excellent vintage condition, exclusions in the amethysts. Victoria has a section in Mexican Silver by Morrill and Berk. I have never seen another one like this, and I suspect the inspiration is not Aztec but Spanish conquest. RARE!
