SALE! Was $295. This exquisite 19th Century carving of Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers, symbolizes spring and hope. The carving of her hair and floral crown is exceptional. She has the straight nose of Victorian cameos. The mounting is skillfully cut and engraved and marked sterling. This leads me to believe the mount was made in the United States. There is a safety clasp, and, unusually you push it toward the opening to open it. 1 3/8" by 1 1/8". I only see one flaw, a light scratch on the left, which looks to me like an escaped hair tendril. Wouldn't you like to wear a gorgeous vision of hope at a reduced price?
