Early, fabulous Margot amethyst and sterling bracelet from my own collection. Double rows of amethysts, hooded with silver and having comet tails or wings to one side. 7 1/2" by 1 1/2", tongue closure and safety clasp. I have photographed the bracelet from end to end so you can see where a few of the hoods have flattened at the lower edges, the way the bracelet came to me. The is one small dent on the back. Margot began her inventory numbering with 5100, this one is marked 5240. Also marked Margot de Taxco, circle of Sterling Made in Mexico, with the earliest style eagle in the center. The bracelet would have been made about the time she opened her shop in Taxco. Not perfect, 60 years old and still superb.
