Scarce 19th century Continental, possibly French diminutive beveled glass and gilt metal vitrine of rectangular form having two hinged doors opening to three padded silk shelves and mirrored back panel.
The glass casket is mounted with an ornate gilt metal lotus and palmetto pediment terminates on curvilinear splay feet with intricate pierced metal swags draped with twisted gilt metal ropes.
Measures approximately 12.375" tall x 6.5" wide x 4.4" deep. Wear to silk shelves, especially the top shelf, (see photo). Flakes to top edge of beveled glass, L/H side. Tin back and under panel. Double door closures rotate to open/close.
