Stunning Val Saint Lambert compote, crystal candy dish with cover in the circa 1920's Charles Albert Pattern having a cameo frieze in gold enamel in their Danse de Flore decoration.
Measures approximately 10.25" tallest x 5.6" diameter. Lovely condition having only slight wear to gold foot ring, but no damage or restoration. Script signature under foot.
The firm of Val St. Lambert acquired the property, and took its name from the Cistercian Monastery that was decommissioned after the French Revolution. Val St. Lambert became Belgian when Belgium achieved independence in 1830.
