Antonio Borsato, Milano, Italy porcelain figure of important Italian composer Gioachino Antonio Rossini (1792 – 1868). Rossini’s many works include piano and chamber music, sacred music and thirty-nine operas including The Barber of Seville, The Italian Girl in Algiers and William Tell.
Stands approximately 15.9 inches tallest. Weighs about 5.8 pounds before packing. Carries original foil label under base, paper label for figurine number, 769, backstamp on the porcelain for Borsato porcelain and impressed mark “A. Borsato” on book binding. No damage or restoration.
