Steuben Wisteria glass vase, circa 1920. Steuben’s dichroic glass line was called “Wisteria” and competed directly with Moser’s popular “Alexandrite” color changing glass. Under incandescent light this lovely glass appears light purple lavender, but under florescent light it changes to an aqua blue. Its diagonal optic pattern and ball connecter foot gives this rare glass vase added appeal.
Measures approximately 9” tall. Trapped bubble with impurity inside glass at side (see photo). No chips or restoration. Acid etched Fleur de Lis logo with “Steuben” in a banner mark under base.
