Exquisite! Antique Limoges porcelain Rococo form jardinière having a scallop shaped oval bowl, C-scroll ring handles, whorl feet, and hand painted with rose blooms and blue forget-me-nots flowers on leafy, woody swags framed between Sevres Blue borders.
Measures approximately 14” (including handles) x 6.9” tallest x 8” widest. Lovely condition with minor signs of wear including old glaze pop at rim which appears to have occurred during firing. (see photo). Monogramed. Carries backstamp for Delinieres, D& Co. FRANCE, for wares produced between the years 1894 – 1900. Also in gold enamel, painters’ name, “Alta Morris” and dated Feb.’94 (for 1894).
This is a beautifully decorated, well-kept Limoges porcelain jardinière that will surely please.
