19th century hand painted German porcelain plaque depicting a self-portrait of Louise Elisabeth Vigee LeBrun, (Marie Élisabeth Louise, 16 April 1755 – 30 March 1842) known as Madame Lebrun, the prominent French painter who served as portrait painter to Marie Antoinette.

Measures overall approximately 12.75” tallest x 9” widest. Oval plaque measures approximately 5.75” x 4.4”. Signed, Möhring or possibly Mühring along edge. Plaque has no damage or restoration and has good color and surface. Rococo wood and gesso frame has numerous repaired breaks and repainting. Ship standard size 18x18x10
