Scarce, vintage sterling silver brooch awarded to the 1970, “Cowbelle of the Year” realted to the cattle men, cattle women and stock growers. The Cowbelle organization first formed in 1939 by sixteen women meeting at the home on the Four Bar Ranch owned by Ralph and Mattie Cowan in Cochise County, Arizona.
The Cowbell organization’s mission was to help promote the beef industry and friendship among cattle people.
Measures approximately 3.375” long. Weighs 20.2 grams. No damage or restoration. Stamped “Sterling” on back.
