Scarce, collectable, sterling silver organizational brooch awarded to the 1970, “Cowbelle of the Year” related to the cattle men, cattle women and stock growers.

The Cowbelle organization was formed in 1939 by sixteen women meeting at the Four Bar Ranch owned by Ralph and Mattie Cowan in Cochise County, Arizona. The Cowbell organization’s mission was to help promote the beef industry, and forge friendships among cattle people.

Measures approximately 3.375” long. Weighs 20.2 grams. No damage or restoration. Stamped “Sterling” on back.
