A rainbow cameo glass vase by Beckmann & Weis, circa 1907 – 1920, Dresden, Germany, its shouldered, tapering form in white opaque glass overlaid with a clear, colorless glass middle layer and outer glass layer in striated colors of pink, yellow and apricot, and acid cut with a decoration of Maple tree branches laden with seed pods. Available information points to this vase executed by Josef Riedel (Poland).
Measures approximately 10.375 inches tall x 3.125 inches diameter foot. No chips or damage. Polished, beveled rim. Line at neck (see photo) is not the result of damage and is inside the glass. This is a lovely, choice example of Weis production with cameo decoration on every side the vase. Signed in cameo, Weis.
