Antique oak Arts & Crafts pipe smoker’s cabinet having a central door with a repousse hammered copper panel that opens to a fitted compartment containing a light blue stoneware humidor jar, apertures for pipes and a single drawer for smoking accessories.

Top of cabinet has commemorative plaque engraved with a dedication:
Presented To D. Oldham as a Mark of Esteem by his Weavers Slaclh Mills March 12, 1912.

Name of Welsh or Scottish textile woollen mill might also be: Slaclt Mills, Slacll Mills, Slaclk Mills. Wales or Scotland

Measures approximately 11.25” tall x 8” widest x 7.3” deepst. Missing part of trim board on back of cabinet (see photo), no key.

We wish we could have discovered from which woollen mill Mr. Oldham’s weavers esteemed him with this lovely tobacco cabinet in March of 1912.
