The hand painted polychrome figures of a man, woman and young boy wearing 18th century dress in a garden, decorating an urn with flower garlands.
Measures approximately 7.4” tall x 5.5” wide. Excellent condition with very minimal flower pedal tips having chips. Carries underglaze blue Meissen crossed swords with a dot and incised number 45. If you are a collector of this type of porcelain you already know that Jacob Petit (1796-1868) copied models of both Meissen and Sevres. He used a crossed swords mark between the years 1830 and 1863.
