Art Deco dresser box of rectangular form, circa 1930, Czechoslovakia in cut and polished clear colorless glass, and relief molded satin finished glass. The box has a pattern of cut flutes along its sides, and beveled, polished edges. The box lid with beveled, chamfered corners is molded in relief portraying a woodland scene with a squirrel, moose, a bull and an eagle and has an acid frosted finish.
Measures approximately 6.3” long x 4.3” wide x 2.5” tall. Weighs approximately 2.7 pounds before packing. Lovely condition having no chips, except scratchs under base. It carries what we believe is a spurious acid stamped R. Lalique France signature under the base. More likely it is by Henrich Hoffman or a similar maker.
