Russian 840 Silver and Enamel Spoon engraved “Poccia 1892”
Intricate Russian enamel spoon bears the hallmark for Moscow circa 1880 along with indistinct maker’s hallmark (see photo).
The spoon's ovoid shaped bowl is elaborately decorated in wire-work cloisonné on a turquoise enamel ground surrounded by a white enamel beaded rim. Engraved into the spoon's bowl is “Poccia 1892”.
The twist-handle terminates in a four sided enameled finial. Measures approximately 4-1/2" long. No damage or restoration. This is a well-made and interesting collectible Russian silver and enamel spoon.
