Elegant deep cobalt blue glass Art Deco center bowl having a conforming tripod buttressed base, and a wide flaring, undulating rim. Circa 1930.
Measures approximately 8” tallest x 11.3” widest. No damage or restoration. Apparently unsigned, but variations of the atomic rocket shape was produced by both glass manufacturer’s Duncan Miller and New Martinsville. Weighs almost 4 pounds before packing.
This is an impressive bowl in a dramatic shape in vivid blue cobalt glass that effectively incorporates both organic and Art Deco elements.
