Hand painted German Dresden porcelain center or fruit bowl having flaring sides, each decorated with floral cartouches alternating with reticulated panels with leafy stems and blooming flowers, and the bottom of the bowl decorated with Dresden flowers. The scalloped rim, floral cartouches and foot ring are picked out in gold gilt enamel.
Measures approximately 7.8” diameter widest x 3” tall. No damage or restoration. Circa 1914. Underglaze blue mark for Carl Thieme porcelain manufactory with “Dresden” used from about C.1901.
