Sculptural Landscape vase by Studio glass artist Jack Ink (American born 1944 Ohio, active Austria) who with the renowned glasshouse Lobmeyer opened their factory in Baden around 1980 (sold in 1989).
A former Littleton student, Jack Ink’s work can be found at the Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, N.Y. He is well known in Europe, and has lived and worked in Vienna Austria since 1975. Ink is founder of the Studio Glass Group Austria heading the Glass Studio Franzensbad, and has been honored with the Bavarian Government Award and the internationally renowned Coburg Award.
Stands approximately 9.8” tall x 5.7” widest. No damage or restoration. Incised signature, “Jack Ink” alongside rough pontil. Weighs approximately 5.4 pounds before packing.
