Antique Parian bisque porcelain figure of a classically dressed maiden wearing a loosely draped and flowing garment, bare breast exposed and binding a wheat sheaf that is perched upon a rocky outcrop.
Measures approximately 11” tall x 6.5” diameter oval base. Blade of sickle missing, otherwise very good. Price reflects this fault. Apparently unsigned. Weighs approximately 3 pounds before packing.
This is a finely detailed, quality example of parian ware, likely English in origin and made in second half of the 19th century.
