An Art Nouveau centerpiece bowl manufactured by Duxer Porzellanmanufaktur founded by E. Eichler in Dux, Bohemia, circa 1900.
An lovely maiden with long flowing hair is upheld by a foaming wave as she supports the conch shell bowl. Enameled in a palette of soft greens, blush pinks and cream.
Measures approximately 11" long x 7" wide x 8-3/4" tall. No damage or restoration. Minute black speck above hand is not damage, but a glaze pop anomaly that occured during the firing of the bowl. Older "bubble gum" mark is a pink triangle with the letter "E" in an acorn.
