The item being offered for sale is a Westmoreland 6” high foot sweet meat. This elegant compote was made circa 1951 and features Westmorland’s cased glass technique. They started with a crystal blank and applied an amber stain. A sprayed casing was applied to the stem and portions of the bowl. The design is then cut into the compote. The compote is in excellent condition, being free of chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. This compote would make a wonderful addition to any Westmoreland collection.
