The item being offered for sale is a Consolidated amethyst wash cockatoo bowl. Part of the Martele line which began production in 1926, the bowl features three cockatoos in flight among thorny branches. The bowl is finished with a beautiful amethyst wash. The bowl measures 12 ¾” wide and is in good condition. It does have a small burst bubble along the rim and a small fleabite chip approximately 2” away from the burst bubble. Both can be seen in the third photo. There is some roughness to the touch along one area of the rim, but is really not visible, and I could not photograph it. This bowl would make an excellent addition to any Consolidated Glass collection.
