Antique Lithograph of beautiful Botanical Flower (looks like a tulip tree branch) in original frame old frame, size 9 3/4 x 12 3/4 inches, dated September 1, 1797. The plate no. at top right shows #384 and at the bottom is stamped in script, published by W. Curtis St. George Crefcent along with the date. This is the original mat on the print which is very soft and brittle. I will be happy to change it out at no extra charge, but since the mat has hand drawn lines, so often done on mats in this period, I decided to leave it. I think it just adds to the character of the print and frame. Look closely at the back cover which looks like newsprint of long ago showing American products but not in English.? Lovely. I suggest putting it on an easel so that the backing could be enjoyed also. Good conversation piece.
