This lovely pair of 6x8 Spanish Traditional Costume Engravings -Lithographs are framed in narrow gold gilded frame. These are licensed 45 year old lithographs copyright by BP Co. during the 60's. They were original wood engravings engraved by Pannemaker and were hand watercolored in 1884. Originally engraved in 1848. These prints appear never to have been exhibited and are wrapped in what looks like original wrappings from the lithographer. Demoiselle de Balma (female)(Young Girl in Balma was originally a wood engraving by Clerman but engraved by Pannemaker. The Serenade (male with guitar) shows lovely costumes of another era. Beautiful engravings never framed, exposed to light and have been stored in dry smoke free environment. There are 4 more in this series. Collect all six by seeing items 3425 and 3426.
