Enamel Pitchers, Navy issued and brought home as souvenirs are a little nicked up but still great for that kitchen shelf or display area. Dark blue spatterware standing 11" tall and 9.5 across from handle to edge of spout is metal and was probably used as watering or milk pitcher. This one appears to have been used on open fire as the bottom is rough but there are no leaks when filled with water. Stamp on bottom of one pitcher states U.S.N. Gruder Paeschke & Frey. You may not feel comfortable using them for food but they still look great and could be used for display in restaurants or for theater props. Enjoy but please take good care of them.
