Around the 1930's Josef Inwald designed glass for the Barolac Glass works in Czechoslovakia. Much of it looks very much like the Lalique pieces and, infact, you will see this bowl listed as both. After much searching for which glass maker is responsible for this bowl, I still can't be sure. However, Lalique seemed to always be signed and Barolac pieces aren't always signed. This isn't signed so I believe it's listed correctly. This is a small bowl, beautifully done with clear glass and frosted satin glass leaves. They are Honfleur geranium leaves. (Lalique listings call this a "Honfleur Bowl" infact.) The bowl measures 6 1/2" across the center and is 1 7/8" deep
and weighs 2 pounds.
Condition is excellent.
