This compote was made by the Adam's Glass Company in California from 1884 to 1885. The company gave it the pattern name "Wildflower". Flint was used in the glass formula at the time. This causes glass to glow beautifully when placed under a blacklight, which you can see in my additional pictures. This is 8" across the center of the top and stands 7 1/2" tall. This has 2 straw marks in the bottom, caused when it was being made. Other than that, you won't be able to find one chip, fleabite or scratch!. I wonder where this compote spent it's long life, to still be in pristine Antique condition. Guaranteed to please!
