Paulus and Soloman by Jean Dulieu
Paulus the wood-gnome adores pancakes. When he came home hungry and exhausted he thought the gift of a bowl of batter was almost too good to be true. Fortunately for Paulus, Solomon the raven knew it was too good to be safe. This was another scheme by Eucalypta the witch to put a magic spell on the little gnome. That was the beginning of an adventure in which three devoted friends combine to outwit Eucalypta. At last, Paulus was able to repay his old friend Solomon by rescuing him from the witch's magic.
Translated by Marian Powell from the original Dutch Paulus en Salomo First published in Great Britain in 1965 by The World's Work (1913) Ltd, Kingswood, Tadworth, Surrey, Printed in Holland by Meijer n.v., Wormerveer.
This rare 64 hard cover book is in good condition with a nice picture cover. The pages have no rips, tears, stains or writing. The dust jacket is worn and has a tear.
