For your consideration is a ceramic oyster plate, circa 1900. The five oyster wells are purple luster with a white center and outer edge.. In the center of the plate is a flower outlined in gold. This lovely oyster plate is 8-1/2" in diameter and has no makers mark.
It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There are some black specks in the finish that were created when it was fired, which is typical for a plate of this age. There is also heavy paint wear on the gold trim and flower which can be seen in the pictures.
