For your consideration is a Hiram A. Smith Washita whetstone. The whetstone is mounted on a board with a leather cord for hanging. It is 14-1/4" long by 1-7/8" wide at the widest point. The whetstone only is 7" long by 1-3/4". Marked on the front is Smith's Washita.
This Washita oilstone comes exclusively from the world's finest deposits of Novaculite located only around Hot Spring Arkansas. It is the most rapid cutting whetstone available and will produce the fastest edge on your knives. Use plenty of Smith's honing Oil or water if necessary while sharpening. Clean thoroughly after use.
