This is a wonderful set of Laura Ingalls Wilders Little house books published by Harper Trophy in 1971. The illustrations are by Garth Williams.
The "Little House" books tell the story of Laura Ingalls Wilder's life. She was born in 1887 in the little log cabin on the edge of the big Woods of Wisconsin, and through the years she traveled with her family by covered wagon through Kansas, Minnesota, and finally the Dakota Territory, where she met and married Almanzo Wilder.
The set includes Little House In The Big Woods, Little House on the Prairie, Farmer Boy, On The Banks Of Plum Creek, By The Shores Of Silver Lake, The Long Winter, Little Town On The Prairie, These Happy Golden Years, The First Four Years.
All are are soft cover books that fit into a cardboard book case. They are in good vintage condition with no rips, tears or writing. There is some age yellowing of the pages. The cardboard book case has some shelf wear and the previous owner's name is written on it.
