For your consideration is a lovely cast metal Art Nouveau jewelry casket. It was made by Weidlich Brothers Manufacturing Company from 1905 to around 1920. Louis Weidlich and A. J. Flauder were the designers at the company. This pedestal jewelry box has a floral design with a bronzed colored finish. Marked on the bottom is W. B. Mfg. Co. The approx. measurement are 3-1/2" tall, the top is 5-1/2" by 4-3/4" and the bottom is 4" square.
Good condition with patina and expected wear for an item of this age.. The inner fabric of the jewelry box is in very poor condition, but can be re-done. The purple fabric, I believe, is not original to the box. See the pictures for more detail.
