A delightful read Illustrated throughout with full-page black & white engravings and smaller vignettes. This miniature sized chapbook contains a tale about American colonization and independence, told to a young audience in order to explain the significance of the July 4th holiday. Fine in printed buff wrappers. This wonderful doll sized book measures 4.5" x 3".
The book was published in 1850. The front and back are in excellent condition. No tears or writing but some water stains, as shown inside the book.
